There was a misprint for our board meeting for March. The board meeting will be on Monday, March 11th, at 7:30. All other places of advertisement have the correct date and time.

As May approaches, the annual Southern Valley Field Day (Wednesday, May 1st) is getting closer and closer! We love the tradition of the color coordinated t-shirts for each grade as it makes it easier for planning and watching. With that being said, we ask for donations from you or your business to help us make it possible!
In the past we have had people use this as advertising, write offs, and donations for our program. Your name (or company name) will go on the back of the t-shirt if your donation is $100 or more. These shirts will be worn on field day and will go home with each student at the end of the day.

Meet the Coaches! Coach Richard McDonald is also an SV native who graduated in 2010. He has been the SV girls' head coach for the last 6 years. McDonald is a calm coach on the sideline boasting of ZERO technical fouls, but he's not a fan of pre-game dancing, crazy socks, or last-minute posters! Meet the Coaches! Coach Justin Adams has been McDonald's right-hand man for the last 5 years of coaching at SV. They coach three sports together: football, girls' basketball, and track. Whether Adams is attempting to teach the girls how to pitch a basketball, showing them his mad basketball skills with his tongue out, or reading a text with just one eye, he always keeps the girls on their toes! You've met the players, now meet the coaches! Coach Ashley Huerta is an SV native who played in the 2001 State Tournament. This is her second year as a volunteer coach.
