
The volleyball team continues rolling through their season! Tonight they play @ Cambridge and it is only JV and Varsity tonight. JV starts at 5:00 PM. Varsity will follow.

Southern Valley Schools would like to recognize Senior Brynn Baily for achieving the 100 RBI milestone last night in Central City.
Brynn leads the team in batting average with a .537 average and is tied for the team lead this season with 20 RBI.
Keep up the great work Brynn!!


The SVA Saints split a doubleheader tonight in Central City, falling in game 1 to Central City before staging a late inning comeback to defeat Ord!!!
The Saints return to action Thursday night when they take on Hwy 6 in Minden.



The JV football team fell short to Bertrand and tonight. They will return to the grid iron next Monday in Cambridge.





SV Elementary named to the 2024 National Blue Ribbon Award Winners! The elementary students celebrated today after hearing they were one of the winners. More information will be posted at a later time.







The JH football team defeated Bertrand in an offensive shootout, 30-28!!!
They return to action Thursday, Sep 26 at 3:00 pm vs Hitchcock County.

The Southern Valley band played for the Beaver City Manor residents after the parade today. Great job Eagles!


Congratulations to the SV VB Team on winning Pleasanton invitational. On their way to the title, they beat Fullerton (2-1), Osceola (2-0), and finished with Arcadia- Loup City (2-0). They will play again on Tuesday in Cambridge.






First grade ended our sound lesson in science by listening and feeling the vibrations of instruments.








The Southern Valley 7-12 marching band made their debut @ Eager Beaver Days playing the theme from Star Wars.
The band under the direction of Ms Hannah Hofaker, will also be marching at Stamford Pork Days, Orleans Applefest & the Minden Band Fest if you want to come catch them live.




The Eagles took on a very talented Arapahoe squad tonight and came up short on the scoreboard.
They return to action next Friday, Sep 27 @ Alma.





Our XC junior high runners did well at Arapahoe despite the hot weather, hills and longer distance. Corbyn Wright placed 10th and Kasten Ruskamp placed 16th. We are proud of you!

Tonight the football team faces off against the Arapahoe Warriors. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Also, at halftime, the Little Eagle Cheerleaders will be performing!
The game will also be on the radio tonight on 93.1 The River.
