
We finally got all caught up on our 5th and 6th readers last week! The kids are doing a great job and we are enjoying listening to some old classics and some new favorites.









Today we rolled and added numbers to cover our turkey. It was a fun game for them and great practice at adding.






Junior High wrestling has a meet in Cambridge today starting at 1:00 PM. Good luck!


Today, the junior high basketball girls travel to Alma! The A team's tip-off is at 2:30 PM, with the B team to follow. Good luck!


First grade was so lucky to have Mickayla Blender from the Furnas County extension office come teach us all about turkeys and we made turkey calls! So fun!

We will now take them at 12:30 pm up on the Mezz level by the wrestling room as we have a few seniors leaving early for activities.

On November 5 we voted on what surprise we would like to have. The options were movie day, no homework for a week or an ice cream party. The majority of them chose movie day. So that is what we are doing on our Friday.


6th and 1st grade buddies made some fun turkeys today!




Southern Valley FBLA Installation of Officers and New Member Induction 2024-2025





The 7-12 Fall Fine Arts festival was held tonight featuring the HS One Act "Freak" followed by the HS Choir, 7-12 mixed choir and the 7-12 mixed Band. Along with the performances, the 8-12 Art Students had their work on display.





The JH Girls BB team took on Bertrand today with the A team coming up short in a tight contest and the B team pulled out a 1 point victory!!!
They return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Alma.




Unified Bowling competed at Lexington on Monday. Everyone did a great job.




The Southern Valley Band and Choir are ready to put on a great show tonight following the One Act performance! Choir will be performing selections from musicals and the band will be showcasing their piece from Marching Band and a piece called "The Beast"



The junior high girls play Bertrand today. They play at home starting at 2:30 PM.
