Congratulations to the SV RPAC ART 2025 awardees: RPAC MEDALIST, Emma Marko Jordan, 1st HM Shyloh Gavierez, 2nd HM Riley Aerni, 3rd HM Emily Layton! These four artworks will be displayed with other RPAC Artworks at the schools hosting the East RPAC basketball tournament games. Also having art representing SV today: Kallie Felzien, Camila Hudson, Katherine Eakin, Brooklyn Santifer, Brynn Baily, Vanessa Aguayo, Madalyn Schoen, Ellora Whitney, Lily Jordan, and Paden Schriner.
Four Future Problem Solving teams traveled to Holdrege to learn about the topic of technology in agriculture and practice for their qualifying problem.

JH Boys BB took on Arapahoe this afternoon, winning both games. The A team won 47-14 and the B team rallied back to win 15-13 in sudden death overtime!! They return to action on Thursday, Jan 23 vs Alma. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 pm.

JH Boys Basketball kicked off their season today at the SV Invite. The boys defeated Pleasanton in the opener before falling to Amherst in an entertaining championship game. They return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan 21 when the Arapahoe Warriors visit the Nest.
JH Girls Basketball wrapped up their season today splitting their games at the SV Invite. The girls fell to Pleasanton in the opener before bouncing back to defeat Axtell. Thanks girls for all the hardwork this season!!
Southern Valley Public Schools will start two hours late tomorrow due to the cold temperatures. Preschool for the 3-year-olds is canceled. Everything else will be adjusted as necessary. Stay warm!

RPAC Basketball brackets are out. The Girls & Boys will both play Bertrand in the 1st Round. The girls will play on Friday at 6:00 pm in Bertrand. The boys will play Saturday @ 5:30 pm in Bertrand. Good Luck Eagles!!!

SV BB traveled to Holdrege for matchup vs the Dusters. The girls team won 51-44. The boys ran into a very good Holdrege team & came out on the losing side of a lopsided score. Both JV teams also got beat. Both varsity teams compete against Southwest tomorrow at the Nest.
The boys and girls wrestling teams did an awesome job today at Elm Creek. Boys were the runner up and the girls got third! Great job Eagles!
The SV boys and the SV/Arapahoe girls team had quite a day at the Elm Creek invite. They took home twelve medals today! Great job Eagles!
High school basketball plays in Holdrege tonight. Girls JV starts at 4:30 PM. At 6:00 PM, the boys JV play in the middle school gym(2QTS). The girls varsity also play at 6:00 PM, in the high school gym. Then, the boys varsity will follow.
