The softball tournament on Saturday, Aug 26 in Holdrege has been cancelled. The Saints will next play on Tuesday, Aug 29 @ Fillmore Central (Geneva). JV starts @ 5:00 pm, Varsity to follow
SV with a huge win over Sandhills Valley, 34-26. Congratulations to Coach Adams, staff, and players on great hard fought game. SV , 1-0, will play at Ravenna next Friday. JV opens their season on Monday at home bs. Loomis starting at 5.
The Junior Class would like to WASH your vehicle on Saturday in Oxford! Look for signs off the highway directing you to the location near the War Memorial. We will also be selling root beer floats!

Due to the weather, the 3rd game of the SVA Saints softball triangular has been canceled. The Saints are scheduled to play tomorrow, August 26 in the Holdrege invite, starting @ 10:30 am. As always, follow the SV social media channels for the most up-to-date information regarding postponements & time changes.

UNOFFICIALLY - as stats need to be confirmed: SV volleyball set 2 new records tonight! The 2011 team's prior record of 22 aces in a game was smashed with a tally of 26 tonight. Ann had a total of 14 aces, one over Sarah Lennemann's 13 also in 2011. Maybe it's the new incentive! Peterson Livestock Inc. is donating $4 to the SV athletic department for every ace serve.
