Mason also loses in the quarterfinals ,0-7, and will now wrestle tomorrow morning

Cole loses a tough match , 5-10, to the #1 rated wrestler at 145. He will wrestle again tomorrow morning.

Southern Valley will not have school on Thursday, February 16 due to snow. We will attempt to have the girls sub district final game later in the day. More details will come tomorrow about the game. Be safe!

Basketball kids will be out of practice at 4:30 today, and we will push them to get headed home immediately. Please keep in touch with your student-athlete to make sure they get home safely.

The Furnas County Spelling Bee was held today at Southern Valley. Mikah Schultz placed 2nd in the written round and 5th in the oral round. Peyton Brown placed 2nd in the oral round. The overall champion was Reid Huxoll from Cambridge.

Girls District BB Final Score SV: 55 South Loup: 30 The Eagles will advance to Thursday night @ 7:00 pm where they will play the winner of Southwest vs North Platte St Patrick's. The game will be at Southern Valley HS.

JH BB results from Cambridge. The A team falls in a thrilling game 31-30. The B team played very hard but also came up short.

We are having a send-off for the wrestlers that qualified for the State Tournament in Omaha. We will have a Parade of Champions in the elementary at 9:50, will leave SV at 10, and will go through Oxford at 10:10. Please come out and wish these 3 young men, good luck, tomorrow.
