Junior High students Axton Roethke, Mistica Martin, Cohen Wright, Kaden Russell, and Max Lanik qualified for and competed at the Furnas County Spelling Bee in Cambridge on Monday. Kaden earned a 3rd place medal on the written test. Cohen and Kaden advanced to the oral round. Congratulations kids!

Due to the potential for weather, we will not have any formal send-offs/pep rally during the school day for our state wrestlers. If you would like to send them off, the Girls team will be leaving at 6:00-6:15 pm Monday night, February 17 to get ahead of the weather. The Boys departure date/time is still TBD and we will make sure to push that information out when we know for certain a departure time.

High school boys district wrestling continues today, starting at 9:30 AM at Wilcox-Hildreth. Good luck boys!
The basketball teams traveled to Dundy County to take on the Tigers. The girls won their final regular season game while the boys came up short. The girls will begin sub-district play on Tuesday at Thayer Central. The boys will play again on Friday in Axtell.

Southern Valley Volleyball is excited to announce its 1st annual Alumni Volleyball tournament. The tournament will be held @ Southern Valley HS on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
