Q. Will each student get a computer?
A. Yes. Students in grades 9-12 will each have a computer assigned to them.
Q. Do we have to pay a fee to use the computers?
A. No. Parents do not have to pay a fee, but must provide proof of homeowners insurance for students to take the computer home or pay a fee. If a fee is not paid or insurance information provided, then the student cannot take the laptop home. The student will need to pick up his/her computer from the library each morning and return it to the library before leaving at the end of the school day.
Q. My student has his own computer, can he use that?
A. No. Southern Valley is providing a computer for your child. Outside devices are not allowed as we do not have filtering software on those devices.
